EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The SV572-10 is a modern directly-heated triode designed and manufactured by Svetlana specifically for audio amplifier use, with no direct vintage equivalent. With a mu of approximately 4.5 and plate dissipation of 60W, it can deliver 15-20W in single-ended Class A with a warm, full-bodied sonic character. Unlike vintage transmitting triodes, it was engineered from the start for audio linearity rather than being adapted from RF service. The mesh plate construction and moderate operating voltages (600-800V) make it more practical to implement than 211/845 types while offering similar power levels.
